Hulu Refund Policy

Hulu does not give prorated refunds. But you can get a full refund for accidental charges, billing errors, or if you cancel within 48 hours of renewal.

When You Can Get a Refund

Contact Hulu support immediately. They usually refund if you haven't used the service since the charge.

Charged after cancelling

Screenshot your cancellation confirmation. Contact support with the proof.

Billed twice in one month

Duplicate charge refunded

Contact support with bank statement showing both charges.

Free trial charged early

Full refund

If you were charged before the trial end date, contact support with the trial start date.

Cancelled mid-month, want prorated refund

Hulu's policy is that you keep access until the end of your billing period but get no money back.

Pro tip: Dispute with your bank as a last resort.

If Hulu refuses a legitimate refund, you can file a chargeback with your credit card company. But Hulu may permanently ban your account. Try their support channels first.
